Positive SIBO test. What do I do now?

Hey everyone, I recently got my SIBO breath test results and wanted to share them in case anyone is going through something similar. My test used lactulose, and here’s what it showed:

  • Hydrogen (H2): Baseline 13 ppm, Peak 107 ppm
  • Methane (CH4): Baseline 17 ppm, Peak 47 ppm

For reference, in a normal patient, hydrogen and methane levels should typically stay below 20-30 ppm above baseline. My significant rise in both gases suggests a positive result for SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), specifically with intestinal methanogen overgrowth (IMO).Am pretty sure they don't give Rifaximin in France.
