Adrenaline dumps after intimacy

Does anyone else get adrenaline dumps after sex? If so, what helps prevent it or keep it under control a bit more for you?

I recently got in a relationship and have never experienced adrenaline dumps after sex in previous relationships before, but the last few times I wake up in the middle of the night with insane nausea, heart racing, shivering, etc. Its getting annoying especially when he spends the night and I wake him up from going back and forth to the bathroom!!
