How bad are everyone’s symptoms???
Hey guys, relatively new to POTS (3 ish months) and was wondering how bad people’s symptoms are.
How did it start? Viral illness/COVID? Surgery? Blood clots? Hormones? Or something else?
Did they get progressively worse throughout the years? Better?
How much does it impact your life? A ton? Not a lot?
Has anyone recovered? Was it randomly? Or only through surgery treating another underlying condition?
Mainly asking as I’m just seeing many posts of people saying they can’t get a job, can’t drive etc with POTS while I feel “fine” at least 50-60% of the time, with symptoms but I can put them off while I live my daily life, however I do get bad flare ups every week or two.
This is by no means meant as a blow to anyone, I am just genuinely curious as it kind of scares me if this will progressively get worse, or if everyone just has it different.
FWIW, I feel a lot better- heart/anxiety/fatigue wise than when I first realized as I’ve started taking LMNT and seen doctors, but recently seem to have developed MCAS which has scared me a little(not diagnosed yet)
Thanks!
