[Question] Playing with a friend in competitive on PC with a controller

Hi,

I mainly play Overwatch 2 on my console and a new friend I made plays on PC. We tried playing competitive but we're unable to due to platform restrictions. If I download the game on my PC and use a controller, will we also be blocked from playing competitive together?
