Trying to teach new players is impossible

Myself and one other friend have played Overwatch consistently since launch of Overwatch 2 and are decent players. We have three other friends who just wanted to get into it and grouping together the matchmaker is the worst thing ever. Our lobbies (regardless of group of 2-5) are insane.

Like they don’t even know what any of the abilities are and we are playing against five stack diamonds, like it’s going to be 120 games before they can even play ranked. It is awful and no wonder people get turned off from the game so fast. Even when they queue together and we just spectate everyone they are in gold lobbies that are just far above their skill. What is going on.

Big time rant, just went like 4-32 over the last three days

Edit: The games are all absolutely awful toxic too. Like crazy Wrecking balls, Sombra, symmetra every single match and the enemy clearly knows what they are doing all five. Like these are twice as hard as when I was in diamond ranked matches and it’s freaking quick play
