Keep or Sell!!

I bought a $1000c 4/5 option. I am new to options and have had some losses and some small wins. The value of the option has shot up and is up approx 118%.

I have been burnt in the past where I held for too long and ended up going from +100% to -50%. I want to strategize in a way where I can keep some profits and maybe buy another options call maybe to a closer expiry date.

Any Recommendations/Suggestions on selling this options call and getting another one?
