nbe3u to eng4u

Is there a big jump? I might take nbe3u in summer school and the material will be all squeezed in as usual. but if there's a lot to learn in nbe3u before eng4u I might reconsider. I mean grade 9-10 english is literally the same, no jump no nothing in my opinion I've learned absolutely nothing new. Same old literary devices, presentation, essay, research, citation etc.
