OP08 Ranked Ladder Meta Report Week 5

Heya everyone! I missed Week 4 meta report cause of real life stuff, but I'll do Week 5 of OP08 and this will be the last Meta Report until OP08.5 is out!

I'll share the overall stats and 1 Billion Berries stats (high-rank players), so we can compare them with the overall stats and see how decks are actually performing against seasoned players.

I'll share one of the top-played decklists (usually from the top ranks) and other cards players are including in their lists. I'll also share matchup info, which I'll be using the top-ranked stats to back them up.

Lists can be tweaked depending on the meta shifts, your locals, and your preferences.

Overview:

  • Rob Lucci remains on the top of the meta, holding his spot as the king of OP08. However, its win rate has dropped, mostly because BY Luffy, Nami, and PLuffy are seeing more play.
  • Black Yellow Luffy is back on the rise, overtaking Black Luffy to become the second most-played deck.
  • Out of nowhere, Blue Nami skyrockets in play rate, jumping from 8th place (Week 3) to 3rd most-played deck! Overtaking Green Bonney and Black Luffy.
  • Bonney is the 4th most-played deck with a high overall win rate. The rise of Black Yellow Luffy only benefits Green Bonney's matchup table. Players are still divided on the fortress game plan. The list with the highest win rate among top players is going fully on the 8-cost Rosinante approach along with 5-cost Luffy to counter Rob Lucci.
  • Purple Luffy jumps to the 5th spot in play rate! It barely held the 10th spot two weeks ago.
  • Black Luffy loses popularity, falling to the 6th spot in games played. However, it continues to hold a high win rate. Similarly, Red Zoro dropped to the 7th spot but maintains a high win rate.
  • Reiju's win rate looks better compared to the Week 3 meta report. Interestingly, it has the highest win rate among the top-ranked players stats, with a 53.6% win rate.
  • Kalgara is still clutching on that 50% win rate, whereas Pudding is struggling to go above 50%.
