I feel weird reading through Scott Snyder's N52 Batman omni
Currently reading through this run again for the first time since I read it when it first came out in single issues. I remember loving it back in the day, and I know it is critically acclaimed, but I am not feeling this batman right now. Both during the court of owls story and the joker story batman seems to dismiss obvious facts that put himself and others in danger, purely because he believes the facts to be untrue without any evidence. Also in other situations, he seems to uncover important things purely on a hunch, or get out of dagerous situations way to easily. Eventhough I like the court storyline, I think it is absolute bs a weak, hungry, thirsty, drugged and scared Bruce who has been trapped in a maze for a weeks can overpower the courts strongest assassin after already being beaten to near death. These types of things really frustrate me as a reader, and imo don't make for good storytelling. But according to what I can find online, nobody shares these feelings about this run.
Are there any stories you guys and girls loved in the past that didn't hold up as much during a reread?
