Pets in rental homes?

Hi everyone! My family and I are considering moving to Norway (my husband has a job offer in Kristiansand). As we look at what it would take to relocate from the US, obviously one consideration is where to live. I've found a few apartments in the Kristiansand area that would work for us, but none of them mention anything about pets. We have a cat and a dog and I'm wondering whether or not landlords generally allow pets and if so, do they usually charge extra rent for tenants with pets? I understand not all landlords are the same but curious if there's a general trend toward allowing pets or not. Thanks in advance for any info you can share!
