New tattoo question

Hey guys - so I really wanna get my second tattoo in the next few weeks but I don't have a clue what I'm actually supposed to do as far as finding the shop, talking to someone etc - my first one was a gift from my sister so everything was setup prior and I have a ton of questions;

Can I just walk in?

Do I fall first?

There are a few shops near me that I found through IG but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to msg the shop or the artist or just go in and I have pretty bad anxiety w stuff like this so I'd prefer not to embarrass myself - thanks everyone!
