6 years later no relationship new

My ex ghosted me and moved. This year will be 6 years since we met. Since then I've had no other relationship. I have met some great fellows. However, it's always a weird situation. Met a fellow 2 and a half years. We hung out for about 3 months. He was great had his "act together" flash forward to today he moved to Europe. We talk and stay in touch but it would be nice to have him here. Then in October 2023 I met someone else. He was respectful and charming. We had the best times. Around Christmas we got together for dinner. Chatting and plan to meet again in the near future about a month ago he hit me with I'm seeing someone. Ok I thought we can stay friends. He says I'm incredible. Hmmm. Anyways I feel like this is a pattern of meeting great people, expecting more and dating. Am I the issue? Maybe just stay single and meetup with other every now and again?
