Rough downshift from 2nd to 1st
I took a 2021 Titan SV out for a test ride. They're offering me a ton of money for my trade and a decent price on the truck. Everything seems great except as I slow down to a stop. It's like a weird hesitation in the transmission and I can feel the slight jerk from it.
Truck has 29,000 miles. I read up on it and read the Titan XD's had this problem, and it would develop into a slam or thunk. Usually around 10-15mph as the transmission tried to shift down into 1st too early.
The truck I'm looking at is not an XD. The jerk in the transmission on downshift isn't BAD, but I'm curious if I should expect it to get worse. What say you all? Stay interested in the truck, or should I continue my truck search elsewhere?
