What are some things you wish you knew or prepared for before having a baby?

basically I didn’t get accepted into a school program, again… it’s very competitive. And you have to wait an entire you to apply again. We are trying to decide if we should just try now instead of waiting on the schools timeline. If I did get into the program it would be 2 years long. My husband has a good paying job so I don’t have to work while I’m taking college classes. But things would be more tight of course with a baby. And in all honesty he wouldn’t be able to help much in person with the baby. He works 70+ hours a week. (Not because he has to bc of me but bc he’s a business owner. )

So if we tried now what are your advice, tips, things you wish someone told you, tell me the good, bad, and the ugly. I don’t have any friends or family that have children. I did basically raise my sister. We are 11 years apart. Thanks
