No Spin SCAR Barrel?
Apparently, nerf accuracy is not as related with spin as it is with centering the dart as it exits the barrel by distributing excess air flow equally around the dart. This can be achieved, for example, by taking a 17/32 brass barrel and shrouding it with a slightly larger 9/16 brass barrel as an extension.
This video says that using a shrouded barrel removes the need for a scar barrel. A more detailed explanation is in this comment that links to what looks like a doctorate thesis on nerf accuracy.
It seems the advantage of a no contact scar barrel is that it uses the muzzle burst to center the dart without decreasing fps.
I've tried this concept on a couple of other blasters and it works as long as the barrel extension is not too loose.
