Hoping to make long lasting online friendships :)

Hi, I'm 18F (turning 19 in less than a week) and I'm looking to make some friends online. I've always had a hard time making friends online. Most online friendships I've had have fallen apart or we just stopped talking so I've decided to come to reddit. Honestly I've never really made a post like this so I'm hoping this will catch someone's attention.

I'm in GMT timezone but I honestly don't care what timezone you're from! I recently finished my last year in school and now I have a bunch of time on my hands before my finals. I'm really into playing games and I'm hoping to find someone who also shares the same interests. I have games like Stardew valley, minecraft, bg3, lethal company, valorant, cs, elden ring (seamless co-op) and a lot more! And I'm willing to buy new games if needed :)

Other than gaming I enjoy movies, shows and I occasionally do painting. I'm also really into music and listen to almost everything, so feel free to give me recommendations! I'd be happy to watch movies or start a new show and watch it together.

VC is completely optional however I'd prefer to use it. I'm fine with just chatting in dms and whatnot. I might be a little awkward at first but I feel like most people are like that when meeting new people. I'm sure I'll warm up in no time if we click well!
