Heat Damage??

I got a silk press done for the first time in my life… I wash my hair after and my curl pattern has completely changed. I’m a 4c 😭 but I’m giving 4a rn 😭😭is this heat damage?

The stylist was very reputable, gave me a bunch of advice on how to take care of natural hair and used heat protectant… but still am I imagining things 😭 I included pictures of the silk press and my hair after the first wash just now.
