Vitamin D3?

Hi all. I was diagnosed with nasal polyps about a year ago or longer. Over the last few years, I have struggled with sinusitis, diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency, and while pregnant in 2022, I ended up getting asthma and congestion to the point of losing my smell. I thought it was from covid. Anyways, I saw a study that was done with patients who had low vitamin D levels. They were given 4,000IU daily for a month and there was evidence of it helping with polyps.

I’m curious if anyone else has low vitamin D levels, and nasal polyps? I was also recently diagnosed with allergies to things such as grass and weed pollen. I started taking my vit d again (prescribed 50,000IU weekly in one pill). I feel like I noticed a slight difference already. My sinuses are full of polyps and my nostrils have a few inside.

The day before yesterday, I was able to briefly smell for about 5 seconds. I miss it so much. You don’t realize how depressing it is to not smell until you just can’t anymore.
