Subject areas for nyc teaching fellows?

How’s it going everyone. I am in the application for the NYC teaching fellows. It has listed multiple subject areas for teaching. Does the program assign you a subject area or do you choose the subject area. For example, I do not speak Spanish, but many of the subject areas are related to Spanish.
