Who are some playoff chokers that people rarely mention?
Players can be active or retired
I'm gonna nominate 2 players whose entire careers I saw
1.)Marvin Harrison. One of the best WRs ever a clear HOF, but in the playoffs he folded like a cheap suit. He basically had one big game against the Broncos in 2003 and that’s about it, that was also the only playoff game he ever scored touchdowns in. Ty Law famously embarrassed him in the 03 AFC title game. Peyton wasn’t the best Playoff performer ever but when your number one target in your prime gets locked up every year in January that plays a factor.
2.)Logan Mankins. One of the best guards of his era and starter on many great patriots offenses. He famously got drafted right after the pats third ring and left right before their 4th title. For the most part, people don’t really care about individual offensive lineman performances, but for the most part he was a disaster and played a big part in the pats winning zero rings in his tenure.
Sb 42 was an all time bad performance by the patriots line as a whole and Logan in particular. He was bad in the back to back home losses in 09/10 and the second Giants SB.
