Blaine: Vampire or Shampire?

What do you think of Blaine? Is he really a vampire like he implies?
With how heavily he implies it, and his obsession with necks, it really sounds like he could be, or atleast wants you to think he is. He never rightly claims to be, so he either intentionally wants you to figure it out, or he's just very bad at keeping it a secret.
The original MySims came out in 2007 though, and his dialogue lines up perfectly with what you'd hear a middle schooler saying on facebook or myspace to come off as a dark and mysterious person. It's the incessance that plants doubt in my mind, personally.
