Opinion on Enya

I was showing my boyfriend one of my favourite songs Caribbean Blue by Enya, as he's studied music he commented on how this music is a whitewashed version of traditional Celtic music and that the computarization of the instruments makes the sound boring and commercial. I hear harp and many beautiful melodies so I find it difficult to understand what he means, can anyone share me some better music that would give me the same emotion?
