When you come out as trans, do people just assume you don't have conversational boundaries?
I mentioned this in a comment on another post, but I feel like when I came out as trans, people just started to assume I have no conversational boundaries.
Whenever I meet a new person who I let know I'm trans, they start talking to me about their sex life, especially when I meet other trans women. This didn't happen one time before I came out. Personally, I'm pretty uncomfortable talking about my sex life.
I set boundaries with whoever does this when it happens, but this never came up before I came out. Is it because I'm seen as sexual now because I'm trans and people think it's a fetish?
