Uh oh

I was watching his guide to figure out how to do the Citadelle Des Morts Easter Egg. But because I was multitasking several things at once I would need to pause the game several times, that was until my timer ticked down to 0 and it quitted the game. But when I reloaded it my mystic orb just disappeared, it's not in my inventory and it's definitely not in any of the slots to put it in, I also went to go check the statues and they were completed so no dice there.. what do I do?
