HTS Ultra 8K by G-Wolves
First Impression - G-Wolves HTS Ultra 8K (18x9.5cm hands, pincer claw/fingertip grip)
Hi all! I recently received my HTS Ultra 8K and wanted to share my initial thoughts:
Pros: - Extremely lightweight at 31g with excellent weight distribution - Main clicks are precise with minimal travel - Excellent shape for fingertip and pincer claw (suitable for my 18x9.5cm hands, though this may vary depending on your hand size) - Build quality is remarkably solid - no creaking or flexing despite its lightweight design - Flawless sensor performance with the PAW3950 - The honeycomb design doesn't bother me personally, though your experience may differ
Cons: - The coating is inadequate and becomes slippery quickly (grip tape may be necessary for some users) - Stock dot skates feel scratchy on glass mousepads like The Beast - I recommend changing them based on your preferences - Premium price point at $139 - The honeycomb design requires regular maintenance
Coming from ultralight mice like the PMM Zen 8K, M3K, and ULX Competition, adapting to the weight was natural. However, users transitioning from heavier mice might need some time to adjust. Some users might want to apply grip tape on the main clicks if they don't like the feeling of holes. The performance is exceptional. I will provide an updated review after more extensive testing.
