LA-1 and Darmoshark M3s recent drama

Boardzy on his recent video about Chinese mice made a really good point that companies like Darmoshark are getting shitted on for " stealing " LGG's LA-1 design ( he said that M3s and LA-1 don't feel like the same shape ) while companies such as Lamzu and Ninjutso are being celebrated while they copied the XM1 design or at least heavily based their shapes on that mouse. Even recently with the release of the Thorn, you can't deny that its heavily based on the Outset, even they them self said that its a " refined outset " few months ago. Isn't that hypocritical?
