Question about Switch Axe

I've just started Iceborne with one friend (this is our second playthrough but first with the dlc). I've always used hunting horn but I decided to use the switch axe for this playthrough, and I had a question about what swaxe is good for early Iceborne. Right now I'm using the terror tyrannos with my eyes on the first banbaro switch axe, but then I saw a different post stating to use a blast swaxe. I'm kind of confused and hoping on some clarification on what a good axe would be for low MR.
