When consuming monster media, do you imagine yourself as the human or the monster?

Is it weird that in almost all monster romance/porn I imagine myself as the monster, but not the human? Like for me, the attractive part is the idea of myself as some kind of horrid monster that gets to fuck a human. I like being the forbidden attraction I guess lol.

When consuming any sexual media I usually put myself in the shoes of one of the individuals, I’m not really imagining my actual self in the scenario.
