So . . . What happens next?

So with the current season ending and Black Ops 6 season 1 starting next week, what happens on MW3 next? Is it now a legacy game with no more updates or gun tweaks? I know we don’t get a battle pass, but do we get weekly challenges to do? Do we even get random double XP weekends? My last CoD was MW2019 and they tried to continue that alongside Cold War with a random map drop (Cheshire Park I believe) so what these games do under CoD HQ I’m unsure.
