Do people not know how chip works?

I've seen my teammates and even ENEMIES try to enter the little beacons, my teammates not knowing they can come back to their lanes after teleporting, they act like I can't teleport around the map so they say stuff like "tank why r u at top help me here". Maybe my teammates are genuinely stupid.
