Black screen using windows restart

I have a Trigkey mini PC running windows 11. If I use the restart function the pc boots to a black screen where I cannot even access BIOS. Same if I use the shut down option and then turn the PC on with the power button. The only fix is to unplug the power cable and plug it back in again. This ensures a normal boot the next time. Does anyone know what might be causing this. Thanks
