How much do you contribute to a 401k?

I’m curious how much people contribute (percentage wise) as online articles state by age 40, you should have three times your salary saved. I’m nowhere near that but yet I’m in the top 20% of contributions and $ saved for my state.

So am I doing it right/wrong?

EDIT: I make about 80k. I currently have about 140k saved. I have a company match of 4% and contribute 11%. I started saving about 10 years ago (age 30) and didn’t seriously consider increasing regularly until I had kids.
