Website won’t connect to my account

Suddenly the website won’t allow me to log in to claim the egg for the event and the daily reward, stating:

“You must have Merge Dragons! installed to complete this purchase. Download the Merge Dragons! game from the app store and try again.”

The game is very much installed and up to date, so I’ve no idea how to fix it.
