Shadow King Question???

So I like to throw auto decks together with random cards just to see what the game builds for me, and then tweet them and Frankenstein them into something else. My question is Shadow King. The game ALWAYS seems to throw him in there, but personally I can't stand the card, and he's always the first swap out (usually for White Widow).

Whats everyone's thoughts on him as a card, and ideas on why it seems to select it when it appears there are better cards to choose from.
