Update: I found the best kissable lip balm

I was searching for a lip product I could wear on dates that would keep my lips hydrated but also tastes good, or at least not taste bad. Thanks to this community for all your suggestions

And the winner is... eos Natural Shea Lip Balm. It comes in a pack of 2 and Honey Apple is the best tasting one. It's a light, non-sticky formula and I can reapply without checking a mirror, and it's super affordable. It doesn't have color to it, but hydration/formula and taste were most important to me.

I also really liked Covergirl's tinted lip balms, my favorite is Made for Peach. It's a nice wash of color and isn't tacky or goopy, and it keeps my lips hydrated enough. There's really no taste/flavor to these.

I tried almost all of the suggestions so I can also share which products/brands I didn't like.

An extra note for those like me with chronically chapped lips: nothing works better than plain old Vaseline. Not their chapstick, actual petroleum jelly with no added fragrance or anything. I apply it thru out the day and slug at nite and it's amazing. It just doesn't taste amazing for the person you're kissing. So I only break out the eos when I'm with my s.o. and use Vaseline as my primary.
