Madden 24 worth it on ps4?

Hey everyone the lastest madden game I own is madden 19 and right now I wanna play ultimate team again and thus I'm looking at getting myself the latest iteration of the game. Are there enough players left on ps4? Or are the waiting times ridiculously high? Is the market cross-platform?
