Advice on pivoting away from this field

Are there industries that I can pivot to with 1 year of experience in MEP?

I've been working in MEP for over a year now and may be coming to the conclusion that this just is not for me.

My biggest gripes are the unreasonable deadlines, breadcrumb information, and the software (Revit).

I could get assigned a task that was due yesterday, and so it puts immense pressure/stress on me to deliver. But I could be brand new on completing said task and its like going down a rabbit hole learning, which I don't mind at all, but I don't absorb the information if it needs to be rapidly completed.

With Revit it seems like accomplishing a minor task takes you down another rabbit hole of other tasks. It could be something as simple as modifying notes on a schedule using global parameters, but then the result is something wonky on the actually sheet. Sometimes Revit doesn't cooperate or there are faults due to a prior users work. And don't get me started on actually printing the drawings.

Then there's the breadcrumb information when assigned a new task. I'll be asked to do something and be given no context. I'll basically dive into finding out as much as I can myself. But I never really know what to do in this situation, if I ask upfront - then it seems like I don't want to figure it out myself, if I try to figure it out initially without asking upfront, then I end up wasting a lot of time. Should I start fighting back when I'm given a deadline to complete something? Is that normal?
