Add meld to nami question

How do I add meld to nami ? I tried a test amount copied receive address from nami and sent 10 meld from Yoroi. However I think I used an Ada receive address and so I’m pretty sure I just lost that 10 meld plus fees correct? Also when I try to add meld to nami wallet it just spins and spins …any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
