Is Hannah from so7 for real?

Im just catching up with season 7 and I cannot believe that even Hannah’s parents and brother look like they are scared of her… am I crazy for thinking she’s got no empathy whatsoever and her ego can take her to mars and back? And Nick is way too passive I would have left after the first belittling comment and behaviour. Such a weird dynamic.
