Current State of the Case

Lori Vallow was arrested in Kaua’i on February 20th, 2020. She is charged with resisting or obstructing officers, criminal solicitation to commit a crime, two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children, and contempt of court for willfully violating a court order. She is being held on a $5,000,000 bond.

The arrest warrant was issued by Madison County, ID where Vallow had been ordered to produce JJ Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17, to the court. She failed to comply with the court order and the whereabouts of JJ and Tylee remain unknown.

Vallow attended a court date at the Madison County Courthouse in Rexburg on March 6th, 2020. Her official charges are as follows:
- Two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children
- Misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing officers
- Misdemeanor charge of criminal solicitation to commit a crime
- Misdemeanor charge of being contempt of court

Bond was lowered on March 6th, 2020 to a $1,000,000
Her bond conditions are as follows:
- Will have to waive extradition to be brought back from anywhere that she goes
-Cannot leave Bonneville, Madison, Jefferson and Fremont counties
- Will have a 24/7 ankle monitor

Next Preliminary Hearing in Idaho has been set for March 18th and 19th at 9am.

According to KTVB, Lori’s husband Chad Daybell has not been arrested.
