Weekend trip in Liverpool

Me (23y) and some of my friends are visiting Liverpool for a weekend trip from 28.03-30.03.
We are from switzerland and want to experience your nightlife, could u please give us some advices where the nightlife area is, so we could find it fast and also book a place near all the hotspots for going out
