Lipoma Removal Tomorrow

I have a lipoma located in my chest wall that sits right at my bra line on the right side of my back. It’s approximately 6cm x 6cm. It has caused pain over the years, especially when I stretch while doing yoga. I get intermittent rib pain as well, but I’m not 100% the lipoma is causing that pain.

I’m having it removed tomorrow morning under general anesthesia, although I was told I won’t be completely knocked out, more of a very heavy sedation.

I’m really nervous. I know this surgery is minor and recovery is relatively easy from what I’ve read, but it’s still nerve wracking. I’m worried the lipoma is in my muscle tissue and will make the surgery and recovery more difficult. I would love to hear experiences from you all, especially lipomas in the chest wall back area. TIA
