Help with Ascension Project Megazord

Hi! I just bought the MMPR Megazord from the Lightning Collection and I'm loving it so far, however once i put it on megazord form i realized it would be a pain to put it back in either tank or dinos.

I am now stuck trying to remove the tail from the back because I'm fearing it will break, any suggestions? Thanks
