Steam OS on the Legion Go

What’s up guys, hope you’re having a great day. I’ve seen a few videos of people using Steam OS on ROG Ally and saying that it’s a lot smoother than windows (which isn’t hard). What’s your opinion about it? I’ve thought about doing this but I have a few questions for those of you who have knowledge about it:

• Is it worth it?
• Can you play games with mods using steam os?
• How hard is it to install it?
