Car for the Test

I didn't pass my first test with 1 major and 4 minors. I have already spent like £1200 for the training and the test over the past 6 months. I don't have much to spend on a trainer again. I'm fairy decent learner driver but I was super nervous on the test day, made a silly mistake on the reverse. Now, my test is booked for first week of March. Long way. My husband has his own car but he's has 1 year old license. What I've learned is I CAN NOT practice in this car until he completes 3 years with the license. My question is : can I use his car for the test? If Yes, what are the insurance and other rules apply?
