Family drive from Vegas to Anaheim

My kids (10 and under) and I are driving from Vegas to Anaheim and I was wondering what you all would consider fun stops along the way. Also, if you have any thoughts on kids stuff to do in Vegas that would be great too. We’ll be there for just a day or so. Thanks for any help!
