Could have we gotten Glenn Philips as an opener?
Alright I know he isn't a typical opener But I looked through his stats and he doesn't have great numbers for the position he bags at Is it a good thought to maybe see him as an opener and say give him 6-7 matches and see what happens His batting style is very similar to that of Phil salt with a high backlift and good against seamers Do you guys think he could thrive as a t20 opener if no then why? Also he is a multidimensional player and brings in a keeping option I mean if markram and marsh can open the innings then so can Glenn Philips? Just a school of thought Please let me know what you guys think of it
