What’s Up with All the Semen Trees?

So uhhh why is Knoxville absolutely covered in Bradford Pears? Is the city responsible and are they still actively planting them? I’m absolutely disgusted every time I walk outside. Any time I want to go on a nice, peaceful stroll, I’m assaulted by cum up my nose. I did not consent to this.

ETA: this is a jokey post but fr, these trees need to go. Not only are they horribly invasive, they’re incredibly destructive to local ecosystems and can be dangerous. We need to prioritize native species that support our local wildlife
