I have no meniscus in one knee. HELP ME!
About 5 years ago i completely tore my ACL and both menisci in my left leg playing basketball. I had surgery to repair about 3 months after the injury and while the ACL repair was successful, both menisci and was shredded beyond repair so they surgeron just cleaned up knee. I was about 230lbs at the time of the injury and have sturggled tremendously to keep my weight off due to pain over time. I’m currently almost 300lbs at 6’1 and deal with non stop pain due to being so heavy along with have a job that requires me to be on my feet all day. Admittedly i didn’t push my self extremely hard during pt because i was afraid of reinjurying. What can i do now almost 5 years later to ease the pain ,get the knee stronger and get my life back in order.
