Docu Series Second Thoughts

I came across an interview with Terry Dunn Meurer and Laura Conlin from PopCrimeTV. Lauren was able to pre-screen the entire docu-series and was VERY surprised at some of the things Karen said on video. She doesn't think Karen will be happy with some of her words.

Karen and the team thought she'd be acquitted day 1 so they were open and freely sharing info. Lauren asked Terry if KR or the defense had any editorial control. They did not, and KR and def team have not screened the series. They'll watch it for the first time along with us.

A couple of key points:

• Karen was prepared to accept culpability until she was upcharged with M2
• Karen originally didn't remember hitting John but wasn't willing to rule it out entirely
• Their position changed when her charges were upgraded to M2 and they used Steven Scanlon to form the conspiracy and added AJ to the case.
• Karen admitted to 6 drinks of vodka, with several being shots that she poured into her glass.
